i find it funny how fair this poll is...cos how many people have honestly tried all of the options...not many i reckon..if any

that said, iv tried atleast 3, maybe 4 iirc, and T1 Rs all the way

Is Bridgestone RE050A not an option ? Had good feedback from those. Had Yokohama AVS Sport and they were nice, now trying Eagle F1 and they are better. Next I'll try some RE050A.

why do people class toyo as an upgrade on new wheels do they still do t1s? how much are goodyear in 205/40/17 ? wat about the michelin pilot sport items on web site called black circles they review them along with toyo and goodyear f1 gsd3's

http://www.blackcircles.com

they do, but the T1R was the new design out, and supposed to be the replacement of the T1S for more road use

Just had 4 t1's fitted, happy days - toyo dealers says he's now selling more and more 's' over the 'r'

Still had to wait 2 days for them though. The R is ****, feels like youve got budget boots on. Never again.

and yet it seems to be the most popular...after all the poll is looking for the best all round tyre

50% cos of brand worship i think though

and also T1-S users are posting under T1-R poll option.

T1-S is the better tyre of the two
in the dry I would go T1-S over GSD3, but all round (for UK wet weather) I side on GSD3's overall

i work in alloy wheel and tyres shop! iv jus put a set of 195/40/17 yoko s-drive on my mk3 cupra only coz its very very low on coily's and didnt want it to catch, seem to grip very very well in the dry! aint had a go in rain yet as its like a million degrees outside! i ran falkens befor these seemed ok in dry but no so good in the wet! parada's are a very gd tyres but you wont get many miles at all, but hey wat can i say i only got 6k out of my falkens!

At first i ran T1S but poor wear rate, tried T1R which were just the same, maybe a little better both were 195/45 R16.

Now iam running P Zerp Nero's 205/45 R16, these are much better in both dry and wet and seem to be wearing ok on a 280 BHP+ front wheel drive car.

Plus iam biased to Pirelli as my brother is the compound development manager for pirelli.

Eagle f1's gsd3's are sound and have not disappointed me yet. Had them all round for last 2 sets n never felt the need to try anything else since I found them. Not had more that 8.5k out of a set though which is a bit of a killer on the pocket.

Ran the a set of Michellin Pilot Exaltos (fitted by the dealer) for bout 18months. The mileage was decent 14kish but the handling wet n dry just doesn't compare to the F1's

I had brand new toyos on my car when i bought it in feb and just replaced the front 2 a couple of weeks ago, when I went to the tyre place I said i wanted the best hard-wearing all round tyre for the cheapest price and I got 2 of the avons for about £200.
The toyos lasted 5 months so i'll see how long these last but theyve got loads of tread and grip well too
