I said it then and I'll say it again,

Dont get all down on the car because you hit a little bump, its a managable problem and can be sorted. H&S will be able to sort out brackets to allow the OE intercooler to be retained, its just your getting impatient young jedi....
Stick with it, you know it will all be worth it in the end... you just lost a little faith in it because of VAG cutting corners in costs...

Car Update
-----

Got an unexpected call this morning from H&S saying car is ready. Apparently when they are really busy they work unofficially on Sundays and started on my car first thing. Pipe has been tweaked and it is now not touching the chassis. Driving without annoying vibrations is heaven especially when you put your foot down.

H&S said to keep an eye to see whether the pipework fixing pops off. I took the car out for a blast today on some B roads and everything seems to have held up just fine. Problem is that its always in the back of my mind so going to see whether SFS still make these clamps and if not H&S will make them for me.

Just the case now of waiting for the top mounts, droplinks and now clamps....

top mounts, droplinks....

DITTO.... lol

Sounds like H&S pulled out all the stops mate to be honest, coming in and sorting it on sunday, thats gotta be a good thing, they must have been bothered that it bothered you!

As for the clamps.. to be honest... get H&S to just make them for you, I have better faith in H&S than SFS doing anything right with the boost your running.
I can CAD up some proper drawings for them to build from if you want fella? Wont take me long.....

Finally got my windows 7 laptop working with vagcom. In the end just came down to the version I was using. Anyway here are some logs of my setup. Not sure on all the values however looks like my requested is being met quite comfortably...in fact over what it is requesting.

Car Update
-----

Following my cancellation with Regal I have now ordered the drop links directly from VF in the states. Amazing customer service from them, really impressed by how quick they reply considering time differences.

(apparently they dont normally ship to individuals in the UK say Regal)

034 Motorsport Strut Tops been ordered with AMD so these should be in soon...Cheers Shaun for sorting it!

Right done lots more logging with ole Slick last night. We analysed the logs and I think we finally begining to crack what everything means.

Looks like I need to get CAM timing adjusted and Actuator adjusted to bring down N75 Duty Cycle to acceptable levels. They should be between 60-80% for cycle however I am seeing much higher. This poses a danger to the VNT mechanism on the turbo as the excess heat will kill it. There are other things that we noticed and have been reported to AMD. Shaun@AMD been great and taking the car in for full analysis of remap and adjustment of the hardware.

Good news is Slicks car is running spot on although we saw his requested injection quantity was not being met by IQ via MAF. Looks like a new MAF will release a few more pony's rodger :)

almostt as if my fuelling is correct, the boost is being requested but the air is not there to be given to the turbo, but lift of throttle and back on and its fine...its just annoying.....

We logged the cars last night to check the logging of duty cycle and SOI and duration, when compared remapped verus hybrid remapped we noticed a few things...

Jay150, i would be more worried about your SFS pipes to be honest mate if you have a hybrid fitted already......
