whats wrong with standard airbox smoothed out with green panel filter i notice a difference from this mod. plus it cheap just the cost of panel filter either green cotton or K&N. Unless you've got loads of money and it burning a hole in your pocket.

Hey guys, i've had my cupra for about a year now and it came with a viper forced air induction. Had no problems but a lot of my friends with vag 1.8T's tell me to buy an open cone filter or just the original box with changed filter. Just wondering should i keep it as it is free or buy a cone filter?? cheers

robbed! Or caught with ur pants down atleast. Open cone filters are great! And for the price of a viper u could have a much better set up

its personal preference, but it sounds like you could probably sell it for a fair wedge if they are £300!! Depends how much you like it really.

(ps I never seen another cupra around croydon, I'll keep my eyes open for ya)

Another decent option is the ebay CAI kits.

the tip is a bit of a bitch to fit. I second that. Did 2 in 2days. Not impressed with the state of my hand after all the cuts.

Personal preference for me is an open cone and like stated if u speak to the guy who started the thread he might buy the kit off u! Or chuck it in the for sale and see what u get
