Thought I'd put a few pics of my motors up, since I'm getting ideas about modding the LCR and can show my progress on here...

The 182 & LCR - LCR currently just has the fabia wiper and armrest, but looking at getting the wheels refurbed in anthracite soon. Clio is standard except a custom cat-back system from prospeed in Cardiff...

The Pug (track day motor) - standard so far apart from a stripped interior... more to come...

Also have a project mini, which looks a bit like this (bought it in 1993, and still not quite finished - really must get cracking!):

Look forward to your comments!

Certainly do especially the clio, which is great fun - Although looking at these I get the feeling I'm going to have to have a change from hot-hatches next!!! (but I said that before I bought the Leon too...)

Nice clean examples....however I'm intrigued by why you bought another hot hatch having already owned the clio. Did you not consider something a bit different or is the clio your other halves? I'll be looking forward to seeing pics of your anthracite wheels I'm considering doing the same to mine.

Thanks for the comments guys!

You guessed right Damo- the clio is the wife's, and she was getting fed up me continually nicking the keys, so I swapped my dependable old escort estate for the LCR to get some everyday performance...

Will post pics of the wheels when they're done - think they should work well with the red. I've seen pictures of red LCRs with white wheels but not anthracite, so am looking forward to getting them done.

Cheers for the comments!

I guess I should have waited with the clio, and bought a trophy instead - would have given me a nice matching fleet!

Mini looks great DIFT - mine has been stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt (I bought it back in 1993 as a tatty but sound 1985 City E with 47K on the clock) and had far too much spent on it.

The current spec is:

Original 998cc motor (which was too good to junk, and I was 17 when the engine was rebuilt - so insurance was a worry!) with
Minisport stage 1 kit,
Minisport stage 3 head,
Minisport fast road/rally cam (731 equivalent)
SU HIF44 1 3/4" carb
Gearbox rebuilt
Brakes/suspension/subframes stripped & rebuilt with parts replaced as necessary
Minifin rear drums

Full respray inside & out in Ferrari Rosso Corsa/Ford Diamond White
Loads of chrome
Underside stripped and repainted

Six-point safety devices Roll cage
Red Cobra low-back buckets
Four point Willans Harnesses

It currently runs and moves under it's own power (But needs properly setting up), but needs some wiring sorting, the trim finishing off and a list of other minor bits before it's ready for MOT. It has been sat in the garage for far too long - in fact I'm going to have to get of my backside and get the garage cleared out so that I can finish it off by this summer!

It's one of those car that has taken so much time and effort, that I don't think I'll ever bother selling it!

A couple of in progress pictures (will try and scan some before photos):

Edit - forgot to mention, I'm just outside Derby, so must get myself down to one of the meets sometime soon...

Sounds like pretty much the same as I did to mine!

Bareshell respray, in pearlecent black/purple, 6 point saftey devices rollcage, stageII 998, spax coliovers, leather buckets...

Makes me feel sad I sold it to get a MG ZR 105 :(

Ibiza is wor lass's now has 15mm Eibach spacers and a H&R Cup Kit sat in the dining room awaiting fitment , Tangerine Tornado is a Westfield Megablade shared with a mate for track days/Sprinting etc, Beemer is 320D company car that is suprisingly good to throw about being RWD and last but not least the Burgundy Bullet a drunken eBay purchase I bought for road rallying

Love the Westie, Slippy - in fact, I was down at Westfield last Saturday for a factory tour with a mate... Lovely motors, and if I can get the mini finished (and get a bigger garage!) I'd love build myself one - you just can't beat the performance for the money!

Cheers mate

Especially a bike engined one, every track day we've ever done the only things that can stay with us are other Westy's. Evo's, Scooby's, Porches, Elises, VX220T's, M3's etc all have more straight line grunt but get spanked around a track
