Yeah thats it!

Is there no other way to find out what psi you have than getting a Boost Gauge?

you could hook it up to vagcom and log block 115 that will tell you what boost you are getting without needing a boost gauge

Will this be as accurate??

Alex - If you just want to find out wot boost you are running ask to borrow a gauge. You can borrow mine but i don't fancy taking the Tpiece off!!!! If you saw it you'd understand. I've got sum Vac hose aswell. Saves you fitting sumthing that you mite not actually want!!!!

i dunno how lol

iv read all the posts about wiring up the temp sender but its pretty tight in that area and i have fatty hands:cartman:

also the kit i got with my gauge i dunno whats what

its simple, with mine i think i got about 3 differenct connections, only used 1 of them though to screw into the housing, its a bit fiddly, but a simply task if your patient, (im not, so i made it easier and removed a few parts, then started to work on it)

you just need to run your own wire

can get pics of mine if you want, its alot easier than it comes accross reading the guides, think it took about 10mins to do both my boost and oil temp

will get some pics at dinner mate

Hhmm i may do this! It would be good to know as at the moment its all speculation, like it was before i went on the Rolling Road

I know my BHP results were pretty standard but the torque result was quite high

VAGCOM Can

]a RR wont tell you what boost your running, only if you do a diagnostic rr, which is just vagcom plugged in and logged at the same time as the RR

why did this suddenly become a boost issue?

the likely hood is it is 6/7psi, ud know if u had a leak because it runs ****

vagcom is the most accurate way of reading boost iv ever come across! cheap boost gauges can read very silly figures indeed

Its not an issue but considering i know what BHP & lbs of torque im running now, i would like to know what everything else is reading as standard! Also i have been told my actuator was slightly wound in so may be getting a bit more

Its good to have all the results and then i can compare when/if i get it remapped and if someone asks me what results mine has got i can tell them, you know?

i found removing the plate/bracket in from of the intake manni made things alot more easier as it made room for even "big hands" to fiddle down their
