That is what he mean this cannot be done by the way my mate tried the heating method. Did work with my fiesta's headlights but they are sealed with black stuff and you heated them up to separate then the same to put them back together.

I tried to separate a rear light that I got from a breakers. Hairdryer did nothing and also putting it in the oven for a bit did nothing. In the end I tried to prize apart the lense which cracked it!

I did think of cutting the rear housing apart...painting the reflecter and then glue it back together, but instead I just bought some Cupra lights.

Looks like it's complicated then i thought... i think i'll leave it like that and only if cops will bug me about that, then i'll figure out a way to open those lamps... ;)
