No.. that wouldnt really be too much improvement around dials as I have the chrome surrounds. But the silver grey pod must be done to match everything. Car must look like it came from the factory with it.

yr car shud look really nice with double din.
good luck... looking forward to pics n tips.

Well i'm looking at purchasing the Alpine W502 pretty much bought it the other day but don't fancy paying £530 for it...might see if i can haggle the local audio place. Soon as I have that and then my wheels I will start. I think we're looking at end of March as of funds! I'd like to do it all in one go! I'm going to sand down the steering wheel insert till it's smooth and then leaving the dial surrounds standard and then the pod itself, main console and then maybe the strip on the door in piano black. I then have a an external debadged grill which I don't know if i'm going to leave standard, paint black magic or piano gloss black!!!??? Any suggestions? Do you think it's possible to powder coat the interior pieces?
