That looks sweet mate. My question is, how does it fit, because I couldn't fit any gear knob because of the reverse gear safety feature and the bolt so wider. Cheers.

Sorry for missing this man! Once your old one is off, this comes down over the top and then has little hex nuts that are tightened with an allen key to stop it moving, works 100% Really recommend it, although hands can be cold in the winter mornings with it :p

Cheers Mate, think ill give it a try. Can you take a photo of the whole interior, as just wanna see how this knob looks with the rest as it look sort of big. Haha. This sounds bad.

I'll get a photo of it tomorrow afternoon mate! It's a bit smaller than the original knob but it has an amazing feel to it. Some interesting innuendos floating about here haha

Sorry for the lack of progress, waiting for some parts to come, for funds to come into my account and also hunting for alloys. Hoping to have some mods done within the next week or so :)

Halt in the progress

This is gunna be the last mod post for a while as there are some changes in my personal life that I have to address and it'll be around April/May before I can even think of doing anything else. But anyway!

Bought these chrome dial rings to fit still (thanks for the advice Kali! you can check his thread here: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=387849)

Got some crystal side repeaters and clear bulbs to take away the "fried egg" look

Then got this wee beauty for when the weather gets a bit better and we can detail!

Thats it for now! Thanks for looking

Will do man! Need to get the right weather tho, not even good enough (or warm enough) to even wash the car right now!

I'm heading out to clean mine today but it has already got a couple of layers of winter wax and sealant on the alloys.

I'll just use a safe degreaser, some billbery on the wheels and powerwash it all off.

Okay, so it's been a while I know! But the thread is not dead! For a while I had toyed with the idea of selling the car, but couldn't find anything which took my fancy!

Came into some money so I went out the other day and bought myself some RS4s.

Also gave the car a wee detail and this is the result. Really pleased with how its turned out!

Few more ideas and plans for the next few weeks and months!
