Wee Update

So as its the middle of the month, and I'm waiting for payday, yesterday I decided to give the car a quick clean and detail and as you can see, it was really needed! Northern Irish roads are ridiculous at this time of year and considering I only washed her on saturday last, she was very mucky!

And after!

Decided to clean the inside of her as well!

Tiny Update.

So I got some parcels in the post (More to come :D) and had a little bit of time over the weekend to get some stuff done. First thing I did was change the aerial to a much smaller one, anyone whos interested can find it here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321165499324?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

It is an aerial for a C2 by the way haha.

Before:

After: (Really pleased with this!)

Overall, its a great wee aerial, had no problem with signal dropping and if anyone's interested in it, its a good buy for like 8 quid!

Next thing I did was I fitted my nice shiny new mudflaps.

This took a bit longer than I thought it would, mainly because I was just guessing the height of them! This is a photo I took last night when I finished.

I was then out in the car last night, and the front ones were fitted really low (much lower than the back) and therefore everytime I turned a corner at more than 20mph, they rubbed off the ground!

I got up a bit earlier this morning before church and fixed them and this is how she sits now :D

Will keep you guys updated when I get some more mods done :D

Thanks man! The link should be up above there! It's a bit fidgety to get off but it was worth it! Not sure man, I'm undecided between a box and a remap atm, any suggestions on this?

Naa mate it was just a screw in job, 30 seconds did it! That's why I would go for it but I've heard mixed thoughts on them, so I'm not sure

Another Little Update.

Okay, so tonight I had a little bit of time and decided I would tackle the task of dewipering her. Didn't take too long and wasn't the hardest of jobs. I apologise in advance for the photo quality!

Before:

First thing I did was to disconnect the washer fluid pipe running to the back of the car. For those who are unsure, its the pipe which is closest to the back of the car or the rear of your washer bottle. I didn't want to waste washer fluid or for it to lie in the bay so I got a piece of pipe with 2 jubilee clips, put a screw in one end and then put it onto where the pipe for the washer fluid was.

Then I took the wiper and the motor off.

Mid way through with everything removed.

Thought this was pretty cool (through the hole) :D

Then put the grommet through from the inside. (Bit worried it might leak, went overboard with sealant haha)

The finished product.

Very happy with how it turned out, grommet sits a little on the shallow side of being flush but its no big deal.

Added this as well, had a toyota one before :p

Car was filthy so of course I had to give her a wee clean!

I'll probably not be doing too much til the new year with Christmas and such but there'll be big changes in 2014 all being well!
