Performance problem. No boost....?

from memory they stay on the car for 'x' on/off starts of the ignition, maybe wrong but pretty sure it's so many hundred.....i.e, stay logged for a good while.

codes will remain until manually cleared, they dont clear automatically AFAIK

Happened again today, although this time I wasn't sat waiting for anything more than traffic lights

Still waiting on my VAG-COM cable to arrive. Although if the car is going into safe mode, should there not be a warning light on the dash board to show this?

i have vag com if you cant wait till then once you clear the codes they go away and then if they will only coe back if they reoccour

Well the cable arrived today, so I've installed VAG-COM and ran the test on my car, and I have had two fault codes appear.
