Yes mate been there done it my first pedal i kicked the car in doing my nut but when i relaxted and carmed down eveything started to well. Right is the pedal box free know?:)

i just cant move this pedal box ive looked and ive taken the two bolts out and ive taken the 6 nuts off and ive taken the clutch pedal off the brake pedal is still on but not attached to the shaft i have given it a pull forward and i cant get it loose the column is still attached could that be whats stopping the pedal box coming out or is it something else the box just seems like its stuck fast

ok cool how do i get it to move freely enough to get it through ive got all the bolts now found one hiding gonna get rid of that cable tie at the top now the only question is getting it out of the car

The brake pedal will only be attached at the back of the pedal, it should move quite freely on that pivot. You'll see once the pedal box is moving.

:)Hi mate sorry for the late reply :)when you take the brake pedal out there is a spring that hooks in the pedal box to the left of the brake pedal once you have unhooked the spring the pedal will pull out, just pull towards yourself with back and fourth rocking motion if that makes sence.:confused:

well after a whole day of pushing pulling getting wound up and swearing at it i got the box out of the car and the most annoying thing is the break is so minor it seems almost insignificant but its enough for the clucth not to opperate so i rang seat got them to order me a pedal box of correct fittment and can then start the lovely job of refitting so THANK YOU ALL for you fantastic advice help and quick replys has helped me no end thanks guys at least my ibiza can fight another day

nice update i took the car to seat today and told them to fix it after i was stopped from taking a sledge hammer to the car after i cut my wrist on the pedal box assembly
