mite just put new head unit in and keep the spekaers as u say they are top notch for standard one's ! would putting 6*9s on the parcel shelf create more volume then ? can u get the silver side plates for the dash

Putting extra speakers in the system running off the same built in amp will not increase volume - twice as many speakers, half the power to each one. Would you splice them into the rear door speakers?

Silver side plates? You mean like a fascia adaptor?

For all those wanting to fit speakers to parcel shelves I suggest these guys. www.auto-acoustics.co.uk. I bought a stealth shelf from them back in my Pug 306 days and it was great and it can even come with holes already cut for various speakers! They also do Stealth Boxes which mould around the left and right hand sides of your boot for your 10" or 12" sub, and amplifier.

yeah all the doors will be running of a four way amp, and if i want 6x9's they will be amped off another amp, and the sub is, well amped and banging. so do u guys think 6 speakers is over the top or will i get the same from four

yeah a silver fascia adaptor will the dealer do 1 ? fink a black 1 would luk **** ! so id av to put another amp in to power 6*9s
