Did you get this car with the original Cupra front and if so were the vents around the spot lights open as with the grill or solid?

hows the carbonio sound bud??

The same as the stock intake. You would be cheaper and probably better just changing the panel filter in the engine cover, or spend another £100 or so for a proper CAI which, second to a remap, gives the biggest single bhp gain on the 2.0T, more than a Turbo Back Exhaust.

The OEM engine cover is very restrictive and all the Carbonio does is replace the OEM air inlet which bolts on to the slam panel and clips on to the funnel to the engine cover. The only difference between the OEM air inlet and the Carbonio is that the OEM unit has an open bottom half where the Carbonio is fully closed.

Having had a Carbonio on my car, I found the difference in noise and power to be completely negligable.
