hey

I painted my rear caliper yesterday and i used hammerite red smooth spray which has done a very good job considering that i rushed it as the weather wasn't on my side.

just wire bush and sand them down and the just spray it on and made a good job.

I painted mine when the car was almost new, no wire brush needed :D
When new the calipers have a coat of silver paint on them, I just cleaned them with meths and painted them with black hammerite, no problems at all

Painted mine red a couple of years ago (car is silver). Looked pretty good. Changed my rear pads the other day and managed to chip the paint off. Used Hammerite smooth. Don't know if I'll try a different colour next time.
