Fading paint. Not such a rare occurrence it would seem. Not a lot you can do is there. I don't know, maybe t-cut might help?

Yeap - sounds like fading paint to me as well.

I saw an early Cupra R the other day and decided to follow it (a little bit:blink: ). I noticed the back was a richer yellow to the right hand side and it was definitely a fade job.

I reckon the yellows and reds will fade more so than the silver/grey and blacks. Although blacks show stonechippings a lot more. I guess the best thing to do is get a silver/grey one although I must have BLACK.

Just stand it in the sun with the darker yellow towards the heatrays and I am sure it will even itself out. Just like a suntan.

Cheers - Cobraman

I've got an '03 onvi yellow LCR and most the plastic painted bits, i.e petrol cap, spoiler, roof raily things, seem to be a slightly different shade of yellow.

My Ovni has had an entire respray for this very problem.

Trouble is, once it's started to fade it's extremely hard to get a good, accurate and consistent colour match. That's how I ended up with a (free) full respray.
