I have a 6L 1.8t FR, BJX engine and i've had an issue lately where my EPC and traction control light pops up and puts my car in limp mode.
Ive OBD scanned the car and the fault code read P163900 "Throttle position sensor 1/2 implausible signal" ive tried clearing the code but that doesnt help either.
Sometimes when i start the car the epc light doesnt come on and it runs and drives regular. I've tried cleaning out the throttle body and the problem remains.
I've read that the issue could be anything from throttle body, to wiring loom to o2 sensors. Just wondering if anyone else here has had the same / similar problem and what the issue was for them so i have a better idea on what to look for.
Edit 1 : Ran the car with MAF unplugged and the EPC light didnt come on and car ran well, TC and engine light still on though.
