Hi,

I have got a Revo remap booked at Stealth Racing on Saturday, but have seen some reviews on Revo only having power low down in the revs. What i'm actually looking for is more overtaking power where I do not need to drop a gear. What sort of remap would be suitable for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

who told you that fella? ive revo and overtaking is a lot of fun.
if youre at mway speeds 6th gear is a hoot, if youre in 4th at say 40mph it starts cranking the power over too so there is a huge scope of power regardless. go for it.

It will be chargeable.... its upto you if you want to put it on the rollers, REVO has a big enough base that if you have any problems you can trust them to sort out, so no real need to put on the rollers, as if its just to get a power figure, dependant on the rollers, it may not give a great figure, or could give a h u g e figure. But as said, you'll love REVO.

I put mine on the rollers to ensure that I got value for money as initially it did not feel like a big difference. I'm just tight like that.

PS: Overtaking is great with Revo

My LCR with Revo has no problems along the whole rev range. Overtaking is soooooo simple it's ridiculous. It still makes me smile over a year after having it done. I also put it on the rolling road after the remap. 262 bhp and 277 foot thingies of torque :) 05 model btw

Revo Rocks go for it. :)

if you are spending the money to get it fitted, see if they'll throw in a quick spin on the dyno for free. I don't know where you are based, but The Racing Line in Halifax does free dyno to prove the gains, and they fit Revo's I think

I am based in Coventry so the closest dealer is Stealth Racing in Southam.

They said that they would charge me £25 to put it on the rollers.

I guess if the gain doesnt feel that much more than standard, I will pay to have it put on the rollers.

Also am I able to choose what fuel type, such as 97 RON, to have the remap based on?
