Overheating

Iv done a search but cannot diagnose the problem I have just brought a leon cupra r 03 with 50k on the clock from a seat dealer, however the other day i stopped in traffic and the temp rose to 3/4. i have just checked the fuse and it appears to be broken. i also checked the fans when the aircon came on and nothing from either fans. i presume this is because of the fuse.

Shall i take it back and tell them to fix it.

Would it be the fans or just the fuse as i know there is a problem with the fans themselves

Any help much appreciated

Take it back - it could well be the water pump. Plenty of horror stories to do with those...

You should hve got at least a 1 year warranty from a SEAT main dealer which will cover this. Take it back and play hell.

They should have performed a check on your car before you picked it up. As you will learn fairly quickly most dealers are idiots.

Get a new fuse in at the dealers and check the fans, if they still don't work it'll need new ones. if they cycle on/off they still need replacing. could be water pump, either way it costs alot so the warranty will be useful :)
