cheers for the replies

it was mapped by dicksons of perth. apparently they just turned the boost up without setting up peramiters like air/fuel mixture on a rolling road. whats an n75 valve? recirc valve?

um if i was you...get it turned back down, simply turning the boost up isnt the proper way of doing anything. Get it back to standard or get it mapped if I was you

possibily if the boost has literally been turned up by itself and its been set to high then yes maybe but you need someone decent to check it out....

220bhp is pretty much unachievable through a remap alone, there are quite a few REVO agents and Custom Code agents up there I'm sure...also Star performance I think and they would all be recommended!

ok, so 180>220 bhp through a remap is a lie basically? hmm not sure i want it mapped by them then!! they should be able to tell me what the fault is though through their diagnostics which would help. although wether the fault would flag up would be a different story

well thats the thing. i'm taking a risk. i might just get it remapped so i know its running well. costs me 350 but i get a bit more power at the same time. would it be worth while replacing the n75 aswell?

well once he's sold you the car....he's sold you the car, making up terms on the payment after its yours is well meaningless unless a proper contract is written up. If you bought a car from a dealer with scratches down the side they wouldn't give you off just the money to fix it, they give you more than that and they wouldnt ever ask for it back if it cost you less!

Well theres no point in replacing it if its not busted? Like I said someone needs to hook up to the car and find out whats going on. Or if you can see what boost its running it might help
