Update on my situation: Local dealer (Malta) called me up after 2 days giving me a slot. Took the car in today and after 4 hours am on release 1969. Not bad at all. So far very stable. In this case kudos to the dealer.

You should wait for the over the air uodate to arrive to you. Same situation as with my formentor

You dont have to do that. The car has got an eSim which will be used for updates
