Just ordered new shape 2006 FR 150 petrol for my wife. Now will be a 2 Seat family:D

Deal through Westgate in Grimsby. Didn't go to Trenton in Hull due to Westgate also having Honda dealership. therefore got very good price for Honda Jazz part ex.

Emocion Red and Lux pack. Should be here by end of April all fingers and toes crossed. As not officially out till 15th April so still haven't seen one in the flesh but i think the new 17" alloys look rather spiffing, much nicer than those shown for the Altea FR.

Nice one. They do look good and red is an excellent choice of colour! I haven't seen a brochure yet, what is the Lux pack?

How did you get on with the Jazz by the way? My other half has got one and she loves it although it's not exactly a rocketship.

Lux pack on the FR is £295 and you get:

Rain Sensor
Anti Dazzle Rear view mirror
Headlamp washers
Heated windscreen washer nozzles
Heated door mirrors with park position.

As for the Jazz. Well as you say it's no rocketship but i think for what it is it's the best designed car i have ever experienced. They never go wrong, you can get 3 adults, 2 kids 2 big dogs and a full picnic in it for a 100 mile round trip to Dalby Forest and still get over 40 mpg on a hot summer Sunday with the aircon blasting out.

Just not got the fun factor and it's really crap when it gets windy:(
I'm sure if they had dropped in a 2.0 type r motor it would have been wicked!

I would imagine the Lux pack will be quite a popular option – useful features and a reasonable price. It could be a handy bargaining device in a deal.

I agree about the Jazz. The other week we had the two of us, a five foot dining table and six chairs in it. Couldn't do that in many other superminis – or many family hatchbacks come to that.

Dealer rang today, we can have the car in red but without lux pack before easter or wait indefinately for one with the pack.

Easy choice really, gimmie, gimmie.

Must say was surprised about the before the 15th launch date
but he said he had the confirmation from seat uk this morning.

Tell me about it, ordered a Cupra in February, and it should have been here last week. Got a phone call this week telling us that Seat stopped making them in December but didn't tell dealerships. They have sent us a face lifted Cupra if which nobody has seen what they look like yet and we can't collect it until the 15th grrrr! How ever it will be delivered this week so we can go and see it and test drive it.

I hope it looks ok.

looks no differetn apart from steering wheel, gear knob and the security risk that they call opening rear windows:)

Just to update, car arrived at dealers this morning a few day ahead of schedule. Only problem is that Seat UK delivered a 2005 model by mistake:cry:  .

Sales bloke say's that the chassis number has been taken down wrong by some idiot at seat uk and marked up as a 2006 model in error:confused

So, no new car next saturday unless sales bloke car work a miracle :censored:

I just hope he doesn't have to start the order from scratch, which is looking likely[:@]
