Options for improving cornering

I have a 1.4TSI FR that I'm slowly building up bit by bit to do better at the track - so far the best change is getting some high quality tyres on, but I'm finding that the car leans a lot in the corners and that's where I'm losing the most speed.

Would an aftermarket anti-roll bar or some chassis bracing do anything to combat this, or would the only worthwhile option be to save up for coilovers?

Yea better anti-roll bars and bushes, on track you'll probably want coilovers as well, but decent coilovers cost decent money, and generally don't ride so great on the roads, so see how you like it with just the ARB first.

Thanks, any recommendations of which brand to go with? I've seen an H&R one for about £200 (I assume that's per axle), and maybe some PU bushings to go in with it?

Hi mate I fitted whiteline front and rear arb on my Leon and it was well worth the money as you can adjust them to suit your driving. I started off with some coilovers then moved onto arb then decent tyres then wavtrac diff then poly bushes and now I’ve even got Audi ttrs front hubs that are a better geometry then stock cupra too.
The car is planted to the road I have my first track season soon with this also. It’s taken me over a years to get this far if your going to trax in October you can jump in with me to see how it handles with all the mods.

Thanks for the advice - I've been looking at whiteline ARBs too. Should I fot front and rear at the same time, or try the front ARB first?

Thanks for the offer - currently finalising plans to get to Trax.
