In a word ... no.

It's not because of the way it looks, cars are acoustically bad enough without adding something like that, the sound would be too mixed up, you would have to spend too long balancing what goes to what speakers to get it right, or else you are not really going to hear the speakers in the left hand door as this would be closer to you.

I would want to hear it installed in a car first, how much is it?

Yeah, looks are fine (despite dodgy PhotoChopping!) :p

What I think I was meaning to say above is :- I wouldn't want it to be too strong a sound from it, it would take away from the rest of the sound system as it is the closest speaker to you.

i would definitely only have it as a background speaker anyway i just think it wont make the dash so bland

cheers for the comments tho

A bland dash in a VAG Motor! Never! :headhurt:

There is nothing I enjoy more than getting into my car every morning and being greeted by that wonderful SEA OF BLACK! :p

(Vent rings and gear surround is on order from Seat to hopefully bring some life to it, as usual Seat are draggin their heals on this, was told today, "There are none in the UK at the moment" ....find this hard to believe....) :headhurt:

Good Times!

why dont you put a boost gauge there instead.

it is a great idea but it a 58 plate and i dont want my dealer to findout that ive had a remap and if i put one in then its going to ring alarm bells.

i might go for something like a volume, bass and voltage gauges?
