Oil Pressure Sender

Going to finally attempt to fit my sender this weekend, done a search and cant find a definate answer.

I cannot see a a 'spare' bolt on the top of the oil filter assembly. What I can see is a hex head fitting, which appears to have a solid banjo type fitting coming from it.

Any other suggestions? Also is the thread on the standard autometer sender unit sutiable or will I need a thread converter?

Cheers

Remove the bracket which holds the dipstick in place, this makes it easier to see. You will need a 5mm allen key to remove it, Put some sealer on the sender threads when you put it in.

Its a fidley job.

Martin, yea i know - if its a banjo fitting, which it is, you wouldnt be able to fit the sender there.

I had a good look today and I can see another bolt further up which appears to drop vertically into the housing. Ive had enough of the pissy tempremental bitch car today anyway - its gunno end up torched soon

n249 & sec vac is all been relocated to the scuttle panel, managed to snap securing lug on one the coilpacks in the process. Intermittent misfire on startup then, luckily had a spare connector.

Does anyone know if you need 2 senders for fitting both oil pressure and oil temp gauges or if it possible to use 1 sender.
