As titled oil pressure or oil temperature guage, which one do you think is more important to have.

Get an auto gauge oil temp gauge from halfords the match the original dash a treat.

thats what i have and your absolutely right with the match. i have seen a better match but it was twice the money. I have an oil temp guage and its useful for knowing when you can give it some welly once its warmed up, and the opposite at the end of the journey. With practice it can help you to control your fuel economy at the start of a journey. Altogether more useful than pressure (assuming its an either/or kind of deal). Boost guage is useful too

but if your oil pressure drops, your engine can go pop. its nice to have an oil temp gauge, but i would say an oil pressure gauge was more important.

If you keep a regular eye on your oil levels anyway then its unlikely that would happen. A temperature gauge would be more useful on a day to day basis. A pressure gauge would be useful in that situation, however its unlikely you'd need it for that situation (you'd hope). You will get more use from a temperature gauge.

Thanks for all your thoughts.

Originally I was thinking of getting a pressure guage but now I think I'll have a look around for a temperature guage.
