Hi, driving home tonight and as I gave it some around a roundabout the oil light came on for around 5 seconds with a few beeps! Never done this before and I put half a liter of oil in two weeks ago. Anyone else had this?! Cheers
Going back to the mk4 Ibiza, that is exactly what they do when the brake fluid is low. Except it is the handbrake light that comes on rather than the oil pressure light.
Worth checking your brake fluid level just to be sure I reckon.
Not had this on my leon but used to get it on my mk1 golf gti. It was "oil surge" its when the oil is pushed to the side of the sump due to the centrifugal force, hence the drop in pressure where the sensor is. I had a baffled sump fitted at the time to stop it. Not saying it is this but a possibility
