Oil capacity for 54 1.9 tdi

Hi guys, Just gonna nip down to my local GSF for some oil to service leon and wandered how much i need to buy. I wil be buying Vw 505.01 oil but just need to know how much. Cheers

my 70k service bill says 4.5ltrs if i recall.
i can check tonight and update thread to clarify, should i remember...

i believe it's 4.3 but get 5 to be sure, mine took 5L once i drained the oil cooler and all the pipes etc!

Oil Capacity for Y Reg 1.9TDI

I've done a search & come up with the attached thread, however I have a Y reg 1.9TDI (non PD) which doesn't have like in the attached thread an Oil Cooler. So I wondered what the capacity of mine was.

also I wondered what the amount of oil is that takes the quantity from the lower mark to the upper mark on the dip stick ?
