Does anyone know if OBDEleven is able to give the hardware number when going into a module to play about with settings.

Just be interested to find out if there is a genuine part difference between the Digital Cockpits of MY2018 and MY2019.

Thanks.

Looks like it damo. Here's a screenshot of my engine module showing hardware number

Awesome! @Titchy does this match the information that VCDS shows?

Next favour is to ask anyone with a MY 2019 Cupra 290/ST 300 to check the details of their Digital Dash/Digital Cockpit/Virtual Cockpit. I'll ask @paddy6789 to check mine as I'm sadly with iPhone and Carista.

Hopefully that way we can confirm the difference in the details between 2018 and 2019.

Just a reminder the Spanish guys have full backups of all the cars (with all this info included) check out https://drive.google.com/drive/fold...,15700168,15700186,15700190,15700201,15700208

They dont have 2019 models yet but they do have several MY18's

Yes there is a lot of problems since the last release although the Beta seems to be more stable now. Personally I don't use apps just code it much more reliable and traceable.

If I do a factory reset on the infotainment system will I risk losing all previous coding? I tried the acoustic lock/unlock but nothing happened when coding committed. I tried a reset of the infotainment but it made no difference. The only thing left to try is a factory reset but I'm reluctant to do this if it means all coding is lost.

Did you enable the setting in the infotainment menu too?
I think you have to not only enable the audio confirmation but you need to enable the setting in the menu so that you can turn it on from there.
