No Cupra Alarm LED?

Hey all!

Having purchased an Ibiza Cupra petrol last week, I noticed the LED does not flash? When activating the lock, or even double locking...

Has it been turned off somehow? The alarm still works as I opened the boot and set it off to check!

It's got warranty left on it, so if theres a problem thats fine, but I just thought it might be something simple?

Also, noticed the engine(water) temp heats up to the middle much quicker than my old MK3 Cupra... Have they changed anything to make it like that?

Haven't heard of the LEDs not working before. I would try getting it fixed under warranty as they have the purpose of acting as a deterrent to thiefs etc. as well as letting you know the alarm is on.

Probably wouldn't worry about the temp guage as long as it settles in the correct place. Maybe the engine is more efficient at getting to it's optimal temperature.

Hey mate, yea i'll ask them to check it on it's next service, to be honest it's probably something i've not noticed!

maybe its been disconnected? Mine stopped working after i took my door cards off to change speakers.. i took them off again when i realised it wasnt working and it was just disconnected.. its not that likely tha an LED would fail really.
