No air box in engine

I have only noticed my Leon 1.6s 16v has no air box in the place some Leons do. I have been looking at pictures, why do some Leons have an air box and some don’t? Thanks

Ok thanks, how do i get to the air filter in this case.

Pull the cover off, turn it upside down and you unscrew the lower half.
