I was just browsing and saw this today, it was on offer pretty cheap so bought it but wanting to know if anyone has used it or if they would use it?

Says can clean carbon build up.
Clears and decokes, improves running.

For turbo cars says to spray the can into the turbo, where would the easiest place to do this would it be on the long metal intake pipe leading to the turbo? It says to use after the MAF so wanting to make sure dont damage this.

Might not use it just wanting peoples opinion before I do.

I used this on my 106 GTI.
Car never run right again after that.
If your using V Power then there is no need to do this as it has detergennts in the pertol to stop this happening

in theory it takes 3 tanks for the ecu to adapt..so continuous use is best :)

It's well worth it for me to used V Power as that is what the car is ment to run on and with 97,000 miles since new on Optimax and V Power and not a beat wrong I canna complain.
It takes at least two tanks to adapt but the odd tankfull might help.
With V Power I get better MPG and car runs better so the extra costs are swallowed up and non existant

I've found no difference between the running of my car on v-power and tesco 99.

I switched from Tesco diesel to Shell diesel a month or so ago, been through 2 tanks of it, and the MPG was better... I switched after all the horror stories of how sh!t supermarket fuel is, cheaper isn't better... at all...

Only additive i have ever used along with a proper high octane petrol is injector cleaner. On my blocked R1 injectors - wynns injector cleaner bought them back to life in no time so now and again i add the recommened amount to the petrol of my cupra r

I'm not like you guys...
I used to use tescos diesel, but now i use Shell's. I dont buy the V-Power diesel, because I think its just the same as normal good quality diesel. I couldnt tell any difference between normal shell diesel, and V-power.

I now only use shell diesel, after hearing of the fiasco's people of had due to supermarkets, filling the wrong tanks with the wrong fuel.

eg. (petrol coming out of diesel nozzle)

V-Power is definately the best petrol you can get - much better than BP ultimate and all the other high octane fuels around.

It is actually quite noticable on my car as sometimes if I am low on fuel and I have to fill up with BP ultimate or Esso '97 the car lacks the same urgency that it has when drinking V-Power.

I couldn't imagine using the low ron fuel or the supermarket stuff... Nor would I bother with any octane boosters.

I use v power now but i tried that nitrox stuff on my ibiza and didnt really see any gains. I use tesco when i can though, feels a bit more tourquey on the motor way... unless i'm imagining it

i use tesco 99, definately feels better compared to normal 95 unleaded, also get about 30 - 50 more miles out of a tank. I've heard the stories of super market petrol causing issues with some cars (scoobies, etc) but they are designed to run on 99+ octane petrol anyway. I've used tesco diesel and petrol over the past 6 years and never had a problem.
