Well, finally got round to cleaning by engine bay today, havnt done it since i got the car at the beginning of december, it was quite filthy but looks a lot better now!

I got the bonnet seal on order from SEAT now, should be with me on wednesday so it should stay clean now! Got the spaced out L E O N badge to go on the rear as well as i am debadging and puting that on, will post pics when ive done it.

Also, you may notice on the pictures, there is the S Seat badge missing from the engine cover, can this be bought seperatley, or does the whole cover need to be bought?

Before

Any ideas on improving my motor? i plan on getting a remap with UPsolute but i want to do a few other mods first, dont know wether to go light and do air filter, exhaust etc. or go all out and get new uprated injectors, fmic, big turbo etc.

What you think?

Cheers

Looking nice and clean :D

If I were you, I'd start out light and go with exhaust and filter and then the remap. See how you get on with that before looking at big turbos and other such things, as you might find the new power with the simple things is enough for you day-to-day.

Plus, once you commit to big turbo's and things like that everything gets expensive as you'll need tyres much more often, clutches don't last anywhere near as long, fuel economy suffers etc etc. And I'm not even sure how many BT options TDi owners have to be honest that aren't damn expensive.

Start small. You'll need the small bits anyway whatever route you take :)

There are plenty of aftermarket exhausts that have a very similar tailpipe, so I think you'd be better off going for one of those. It might cost a little more, but it will be the right design, layout and pipe size for your car. Will sound slightly nicer too ;)
