Hi All

Abit new to the Leon and have a Cupra on a 52. Is it very easy to 'chip' from 180bhp upto 225??
What do you guys suggest as the easiest/safest/cheapest route?
Cheers

Secondly - i'm wanting to change the stock re-circ DV for a nice loud one. Are the ones on the plastic forge ones?
Any recommendations from you guys ? Or any for sale?

The std ones are Bosch and fail quite often, Forge 007 is the best bet IMO, however it's not loud.......

If you want to be able to hear the turbo and dumping you need an induction kit
BMC CDA
Dynatwist
RamAir
Carbonio
Forge Kona

All good products.

Is the forge 007 a re-circ then or dump to atmos?]
thanks mate

Stick to Recirc

Atmospheric do work but your engine won't like it, may run OK for a while then start running Lean or Rich as a result....and you'll go slower due to the fault codes in the ECU and ECU winding back. The 'trick' part atmos and part recirc ones are no different.

Thanks for the advice chap. So you can still hear an audible 'dump' with the re-circ one (Forge 007) if you change the air filter?

If you switch to an induction kit yes (not just a replacement panel air filter), listen to the video clip above if you can....
i disagree steve, mine runs just a pnel filter and cold air feed, and its whooshy enough for me .quite embarrassing when cold actually :D
