New to the cupra scene and have a few probs with my new cupra r

Hi all i have just got a 03 copra r 210 that has a few faults.
Firstley the traction control does not work and pressing the switch on the centre console has no effect .
The cars seens to sometimes have a flat spot that is probally the MAF sensor ??
The rear centre seat belt is stuck it wont unreal. so is this fix a new seat or can it be opened up to replace the seat belt mechanisum ??
The car does not seem that quick. do the dump valves go weak ??
Any thaughts suggestions please .

Possible the switch is not working on the centre console or the plug has come off the bottom.
Sounds like a MAF prob with your car if its flat would need Vag-com to check for any fault codes and a MAF check.

the rear seat can the opened forwards and then SLAMMED back in place this should free the belt.

the standard DV can break the diaphragm and cause running problems aswell Vag-com would see a fault with this aswell

Did you buy it from a dealer? If so I'd take it back, especially the seat belt, as its an MOT failure if a seatbelt doesn't work, and get the faults fixed.

Obviously if its a private purchase unless the seller mis-sold it you've got no comeback.

Thanks for the replys i got the car private so not much chance of any come back
The traction switch lights up when the ignition is on so it must have a fault. i have tried and tried slamming the seat back but the belt is still stuck.
looks like im going to have to spend some cash on getting the car right rather than a remap etc
