I have managed to borrow a machine polisher and I plan to give my car a good clean a week tomorrow, however i have a few questions about doing this for the first time. In terms of pads what stuff do i need to look at getting the required stuff for the machine polisher?

anyone have any tips for using it for the first time, i have a rough idea of what to do but any hints are much appriciated

another question is that previously i have only washed, clayed, polished and waxed the car but i want to try and get it a better level of protection. is it worth looking at glazes and sealants as well to give a better finish, and if so what kind of pads would be needed for the polisher?

if there is anything that is worth mentioning i haven't asked please let me know

results looks good, i can get good results by hand on mine but requires a lot of effort so hence the borrowing of the machine polisher and looking into getting one as well
