new radio

Hi. Can anyone help with a problem i have had fitting a new radio to leon mk1.
I have the harness,antenna kits etc.
The problem is the preset channels are lost each time the ingnition is turned off.
I presume there is a prob with permanent live but have no clue as to get over this.
Can anyone help please.

swap the red and yellow wires in the harness from the stereo. should be on bullet connectors.

if your new stereo came with a harness you will need to swap over the red and yellow wires. there should bea way to swap them over. there was on my sony anyway. the red should be connected to the yellow and the yellow to the red if this makes sence!!!

As above. You've got your switched and your permanent live the wrong way round, swap yellow and red.
