Dont know weather this is the right section but hey!

Been into cars since I was about 14 and started rallying a peugeot 205 GTI with my dad at 16.

When I turned 17 I bought myself a polo. Car was great for a first car and being German hardly anything went wrong! For the last month or so I have been in 2 minds to keep it or not as I am now 19 with 2 years no claims and fancied somehting a bit quciker.

Well about 3/4 weeks ago now my polo got smashed into on a roundabout by an old women who said "the sun was in my eyes" so that was the end of the polo!

Started looking at Cupras and found one local to me, went and viewed it and bought it there and then. Already had a stage 1 revo remap but thats it atm. Looking to do a few things to it but am new on the turbo scene so have lots to learn!

Welcome along mate... Kudos on the 205... I started with Peugeots also (106 Rallye) and moved onto a cupra... You'll never find the handling on par, but the power will be greater.

A common list of mods are listed in my signature below mate. Expect anything from around 220 - 250bhp and it will still be quite economic for a turbo.

It really depends on how much you have to spend. You can't beat the sound of the Turbo spooling up with a KO3s Turbo, Jetex filter and a Forge TIP and then smashing the pressure back in the Turbo with the Forge 007 diverter valve (Recirculating dump valve)

Ita all about the dual ports...got to let that d/v sing...lol...most of the stuff you can do would be the same as a n/a car except its a lot easyer to get the power out of a turbo motor and much more fun on boost...::
