yer i suppose there is that way to look at it, ive never really been a big cd buyer nicking sisters and itunes so its always been copies, now spread between SD cards and the Ipod so would be more pissed to loose a pod box.
same here my cd collection has taken me 20 odd years to get where it is today, I have well over 2k CD's and they are all on my 80gb ipod (it's getting full now)
the ipod goes with me in the car and on customers sites where I somtimes plug it in for a change to the RADIO 1 dribble at 02:00
then if I'm at home it goes into the home cinema system in the living room
sorted, 2k CD's wherever I go
if you buy CD's on Ebay or Amazon they are normally cheaper than Itunes downloads and then they become your hard copys when you rip them onto Itunes

yeh that how I see it I covinced my other half to get the 420i converter box for his alpine headunit as he had had most of his c.ds stolen and lost his collection.
