Hi. That was originally the plan but SEAT have now said Formentor will stay CUPRA only.

I'm not a big fan of SUV's in general and wouldnt buy one but that would certainly turn my head, pretty cool looking for a big SUV.

You are correct - that will tech me not to check the figures

Formentor is 4,450mm long compared to the Ateca's 4,376
The width on the Formentor is 1,839 compared to the Ateca's 1,841

So yes a bit longer but a tad narrower.

Its a lovely car in the flesh! Will be nice as well because there is no SEAT version.

Wayne G suggested a 345bhp version in future as well.

Thank you for the clarification as I didn't realise that, for some reason I thought it was bigger than the Ateca but not sure why. I'll look forward to seeing the road tests and hopefully a few out on the local roads.

That looks good, for me almost like the Cupra Formentor is similar to the Lambo Urus style wise but for folk with normal money. I like it.

I'm now struggling to to see why you would choose something that size over a Leon.

To be different, Forementor will be rarer on the roads, its also not a rebadged SEAT. Plus it is bigger than the Leon.
