You got to see it in the flesh.
2016 the dealer ordering system for Seat was outside of the configurator so we mapped the configurator codes into the dealers system... It still didn't stop the car being built without wireless charger.
It's really the build codes that are tied to the finished products VIN that resolves what's been built. When buying the Arona which was waiting in port but not assigned to a buyer used Erwin VIN look up to cross check what the dealer was selling against the
brochure spec. In that case it tallied. Didn't trust the dealer when they didn't want to honour the website car finder site price. Rascals.
You have to / can splash the £8 hour time on Erwin to understand the build codes on models to resolve some of the issues. Been doing that to understand what's in the Leon 4 infotainment system of UK v abroad purely for research purposes
. Mib3 ZN1 / ZN2 / Mapcare and connect services.
It's all rather daft. In my
Ateca case somewhere between MK and the factory someone hadn't checked the mapping tables of the UK spec with the mib2 high in 2016 so they built all of those models specified that way without the wireless charger. People with the standard systems got their wireless charger tray. Caused a stand off on the day of pick up for recompense.
