think what insurance will be like if you tell them you have dropped a 1.8t engine in a car with rear drum brakes?? LOL i wouldn't think the car would last long the amount of money it would cost in't even worth thinking about then you have reliability isues aswell

Theres a MK2 golf with the 1.8T lump shovved in round my way thats still on its stock brakes lol. Plans to stick a bigger turbo on it aswell but leave the brakes how they are.

so it is possible then, if i was going to do it i would uprate everything, but it was only a thought at the present time just wanted to know what you all thaught about it
