New brakes, what ones tho?

I use Mintex brake pads front and back on my lc and they are superb. So much better than standard brakes. :D

I have just looked at the discs and they are the 288mm discs. There is company down here where they make discs. So i think i will upgrade them to the 312 discs and change the pads.

Is it worth getting the rear discs changed to the vented ones? The same as the cupra r.

ive left my rears alone. id guess there the same as mine although mine started out with 312 discs on the front.
havnt found the need and having worn them down previously to the metal:redface: i only heard them eating the disc in the last few feet of stopping:whistle:
might put better pads on the rears next time round but i doubt id get anywhere near the impact doing the fronts has given.
