New Boost & Oil Temp Gauge.

Have used this guide of yours CLICKY

Only changes is that I've moved the 12v +ve leads from the light switch loom onto the main 12v switched connection on the main power block.

I've checked all the +ve & -ve wires for continuity.

It's gotta be a dodgy sender of gauge.

Found this on another thread about the same thing...not sure its right tho...

Upper green goes to red on sender, upper black goes to black on sender. Upper red goes to yellow fusebox screw 75xx or something under the lower dash trim as it needs 12v supply, not 5-9v variable from dmmer switch or you'll be able to alter the temp yourself. The wiring diagram was wrong n mine and i had 2 wires going to sender instead of just the one. You need to check your sender.

Will have to try & make the Essex meet, altho I'm only a poor Kent boy, who can't afford the cost of Dartford crossing ;)

Right, had the lot out in the dark, and tested the gauge locally in the engine bay (bit Heath Robinson ;))

And it works fine, so now just gotta check ALL of the connections (crimps) to make sure I've not got any dud's.

Fingers crossed by the end of this Nightshift it'll be sorted & I'll have done no work what so ever!

Right - It's all sorted...and the problem was .. a dodgy crimp connection :redface::doh:

Big thanks to all those that assisted, Moff you ARE a legend!

All thats left if to check for a vac leak somewhere to hopefully sort the boost PSI issue, but I'll follow that up via a VagCom runs at some point!
