Hello

I recently bought a used Cat D repaired Seat Leon SE 1.6 which so far I've been very happy with. so far I've replaced the break discs and pads, had the AC re-gased and had to have the driver side shock absorber replaced.

The only think left to do(that I know about) is to get the start and stop working.

When I got the AC re-gassed, the garage told me their diagnostics came back with 'neutral positions sensor implausible' since then I noticed from the front of the gear box there is a disconnected cable which I've deduced is suppose to go to the neutral position sensor.

At first I figured it may have just bee left disconnected but I couldnt work out where it went until I asked my local seat dealership(where I once worked as IT staff) I was given a gearbox diagram which showed the apparent location of this sensor. Looking again at the gear box this sensor is clearly missing, in it's place it some kind of blanking insert/dome (I honestly don’t know what to all it, see picture 3)

Vehicle details.

Seat Leon 1.6 SE Technology 5dr hatchback
Engine Code: CLHA
Gearbox code? QPM 050814 14 458 2
Gearbox code according to the Dealership: MWW
Variant: 5F1

Edit: So I cant even link pictures, maybe I've been descriptive enough .. ?
