need vag-com in newcastle area (help)

Hi all (newbie here)

i need some help please, so heres the story.

i had been looking for a leon cupra r for 2-3 months at a good price and up came a 180bhp cupra (52 plate) in silver with 67k on the clock fssh.

managed to get it for £6899 so with the extra cash i had i went and got it revo stage 1 (very happy) also added the forge 007 and a boost gauge

on big prob with the car i have is the fuel comsumtion (about 280 miles to a full tank...£46 optimax.

so i got the car serviced (spark plugs oil filter, air filter etc)...still no change!

i also noticed the brackets are breaking away on the exhaust so it blows a little so i have decided to go for a supersprint cat back system (which im have trouble finding sellers and prices for!, after thats done i can get the other items needed for a stage 2 revo.

today after just washing\polishing the car i took it for a little drive and when i planted my foot down the boost from the turbo was low and started stuttering cutting out, i looked at the dash and the engine diagnosis light was flashing!!!
so i backed off the throttle and it went off and the car drives fine until you want full boost and the same happens every time.
so i looked up in the owners manual to see what it says (take it to dealers) , logged on scn and started searching, came up with "sensors, coil packs, fueling, etc

so to find out what it is i need to get it plugged into a laptop so could anybody be kind enough to check this out for me as i need my car for work this week so i need it sorted asap my car has no warranty left on it but have seen on some threads that the coil packs have 5yr extension so hopefully its a low cost solution

280 miles to £46 optimax sounds about right to me. I get about 330 to a £52 tank full.

had the car fixed today at the stealers, they replaced a coil on cylinder 3 under the 5yr warranty ext, got there for 10am and was back out at 10.30, even though they were very busy and was told they might need the car for some time that day but i explained that i really needed the car for work that day (which i did), and they sorted me out nicely (free coffee whilst waiting too) i was well impressed!!!

just need to find out where to get vag com software and the hardware need for my laptop now so this dont happen again!

There's a sticky about cables in the vagcom section. I got mine from e-bay. Software is from www.ross-tech.com. Free version is limited but reads codes I think.
