A while ago I went up to Pentagon about tinting, was gona get a light smoke in the front and smoke on the back, was gona be 200/250 quid, then I just spent the money on ICE instead cause I'm an idiot lol. Im hoping to get the wheels refurbed in black, get the side strips either colour coded or removed, mirrors gloss black, coilovers (when I figure out which ones to get, im totally clueless lol, I just want it low!) and possibly a remap! I'll probably get other small things like badgeless grille, strut brace, 20mm rear spacers...and I think after all that it would be looking pretty mint! Also maybe get my roof vinyled black once everythings done...just to see how it would look, as a few people have said it would look the mutts nuts :)

Have you any more plans for the Toledo? Shes lookin really well. I think a nice wide set of 19's with a polished lip would look awesome on it :)

Quite a good shopping list you have there then. If you are anything like me its just getting time and motivation to do things!
I cant go much wider than I have on it now- clearance between the wheel and the coilover is quite tight! I am happy with the way its sitting at the min- i'l probably just do small things that arent really noticable like those flat style wipers, maybe put some of that blue mirror glass in the mirrors. Mabe fit Leon Curpa or Mk4 Golf GT_TDi bucket seats. I think they look really well!

Ive got Koni coilovers. Really good job. Im not sure how low it is. You can really tell with coilovers unless you measure the car before you lower it and then compare the heights- but I didn't! Its sitting just below top of the tyre at the front and about halfway down the tyre at the back. I like it low- its probably about 100- 110mm roughly!

****!

See...I was looking at a loada diff kits...and they all say they lower between 30/35 - 65/70

But will they go lower? I was looking at FK, KW etc and they all seemed to be roughly the same figures

Yea when I was looking at coilovers I seen so many different types. Some do 35/40mm and other 70/80mm but I went for the ones that lower up to 120mm. I wanted my car really low so it made sense to go for them. They are quite comfortable aswel.

Thanks lad. Im liking your motor too. I wasn't fussed on the new shape Leons at the start but think they are class now! I think when I get bored of the Toledo I will be going for one if I can afford it!

Thanks lad, it does the job. Its a standard toledo bumper just with a splitter onto the bottom. I cant remember how much it cost to colour code, just ask any car repair/sprayers and they will give you a rough idea of a price. I got the roof spoiler off Gerry McGurk at the spoiler center in the rock- just outside cookstown.

Definatly go for the coilovers lad. I had 120mm ones in down full. Some job, pretty comfortable too considering how low they are. If you are looking a number for the Gerry Mc Gurk give me a shout I have a mobile and a landline for him here in the phone. He can get you anything you need spoilers, skirts, springs etc. I've bought a lot of stuff off him, he's a good man and knows what he's talking about.
