this is one of the coolest platinum cupra r s ive seen . got the look spot on . would like too see it with slight tinted windows . my sons jaw dropped when he seen the transformation .he wants me too do same too my car . you may have a twin shortly.

Thanks very much :redface: :D
Mild tints are on the list for the summer; along with a slight drop ~20mm on a KW spring and shock combo I think!

What did taking off your oem centre silencer do to the sound and performance of your exhaust do. Any diference in sound or performance . Always wanted too do this too my car but was in doubt whether to do it.

Performance: Bugga all difference!!
Noise: Definitely louder, especially on tickover; nice burble. Generally a bit noiser, but also a better sound. Been in a few standard LCRs since and really notice the difference between the two.

67mm steel tube and then its a cut and weld job. Make sure you get the pieces of exhaust either side of the silencer in a jig before cutting the silencer out so that when you weld in the straight tube, the angles and rotation of the exhaust section do not change.

:thumbup:car looks fantastic mate, definitely the benchmark for platinum grey LCR's!!

wheels look great in black, the standard LCR wheels are so nice and this is an awesome way to make yours look different without changing them.

:worship: top marks!! :worship:

Thanks DMC;

Unfortunately the latest update is not modification related, but more related to this sneaky b**ger:

Don't think I saw him in time, so I might have my first points on my license through the letter box soon :(

On the up-side, I'm booked onto an open-pitlane trackday and Snetterton on Friday :D

how many pictures :D Snetterton is a nice track,maybe one day i will try it out. Your car looking fab on pics on track! Did you overtake that dc2 uk spec one?

thanks guys :)

haha.. yes, personal camera man (thankyou mhill :)) got carried away!
The green integra? I don't think I came across him on track; we passed a couple of vx220s, the rs4 (one of the drivers was slower than the other), the orange 911 gt3 (older chap driving it), and the DB9 when he would get out of the way [:@]

I am quite amazed by the body roll it still has even with a 25mm rear arb on the stiffest setting, and front and rear strut braces...think it is coilover or strut and spring combo time :)
