The specs are on my previous post but its a 1.9 tdi sport 130 with 78k miles fully serviced till 53k then nothing in the service book.
It's very, very quick and I'm really impressed just wanted some advice really so here goes:
1. Anyone know of a good garage in Hampshire area? (Ideally near Winchester). Alternatively near Salisbury area?
2. Also, just been quoted from the Seat main dealer £155 for an overall inspection and oil change plus another £50 to check the condition of the cambelt (the guy I bought it from says it was done 400 miles ago but does not have any proof!).
3. Just thinking is it worth just having it done cambelt and waterpump. How much do people get charged for this?
4. I also noticed the power steering whines (very very quietly) during the first 5 minutes from cold. Is this normal or is the pump going?
5. Finally! - The glow plug light goes out very quickly but it still takes a few too many crankovers till it starts up (probably 3 seconds). Is this normal? I've put a bottle of redex last week and no more smoke.
