good buy i didn have the ibiza but had the equivelant polo with the 1.4 8v mpi engine in great fun to drive has quite alot of torque for the engine size so feels fast even when its not!!! good buy at 14000 i just sold my polo for 3800 with 50000 on the clock, the difference between seat an vw is scadelous!!

yea my friend has the same polo, with the same 1.4mpi engine, but shes had loads of problems with it and its actually slower than my seat (i supose this is because its heavier) she payed £3500 for it and didnt believe me when i told her my ibiza was only £1400,

ive just given it a good clean so im gunna go take some pics with my mums slr camera and post them up here so u can see how clean it is :)

Very nice clean looking car, Could do with being lowered, but so could mine. Just need to find the money and time to do it.

So the S models have black sills below the doors? Strange. Also looks like it has H7 head lights, but its hard to tell in the pic.

yea the guy who i bought it from said that the headlights are from the newer model, the old ones had cracks in them so he replaced them and ive got the reciept to show he paid around 300 for the pair, i dnt no alot about theese cars yet as ive not had it long but wich model are the headlights from??

yeah get it lowered as it looks like a 4x4

1) improves looks greatly
2) imporves handling
id recommend the philj kits off club polo

but some might not recommend his service had one of his 60/60 kits on my polo was great will post pics up later if you want

bargain at like 145

very nice mate looks smart. ive got a 1.4s too, i love it like its class. im thinking of getting cupra suspension on it but im not sure yet, will be cheaper than new coilovers if i get some used ones off here. i think theyll make it sit a bit lower too which is a bonus :)

i was thinking about doing the same as a couple of my friend who are both mechanics have seat ibiza cupra's wich they have lowered and they both have told me that thell sell me their cupra shocks and springs for 50quid and theyll fit the for free , just not sure if it will even make any difference though

yeah, im not sure about difference to ride height but theyll firm up the ride and it'll handle better too

im after some cupra alloys so if anyone here has some they wanna sell i would apreciate it, i have posted in the wanted section but havnt had any replies,

im also after a couple of cupra parts like sideskirts (preferably in silver) and silver mirrors,

other than that im gunna lower it and tint the windows, just waiting untill payday

right so you can see my 1.4s in the pics above, well i have decided im going to lower it!!

its currently on 15" wheels i was wondering wot u people think i should lower it buy, i was either thinking a 60/40 kit or some of those hottuning coilovers from ebay, ive heard their pretty good on the vw golf's , has anyone here used one of their kits on an ibiza,

i dont want to spend loads doing it though, my friend who is a mechanic said he can do it at his garage for about £50 so ive just got to buy the right kit and then ill get it fitted straight away,

also can anyone here photoshop my car so i can see how it will look when its lowered on those wheels??
i would really apreciate it,
thanks

Well I'm going down the Cupra suspension route. Got it off here for £40. Should hopefully arrive on Friday so whenever I get it fitted I'll let you know my opinion on it. As far as I'm aware its about 35mm lower than the standard height.

It's a pretty good bargain if you can get a decent set off here. Theres a good few in the accessories for sale section.
