By the way if you still don't understand this, post another picture and instead of questionmarks put numbers so that you are not confused which one I am talking about

good luck

Danny here you ask if its worth doing however in your signature it says you already have it done?
Or did you just mention the N249 because you still have it? Then we might aswell put down every single part on our car that is standard, right?? :headhurt:

lol...No i plan on doin it tho...
And i was doing it the night after i updated my sig...

I havent yet done the bypass...It worth doing?

wish i would of read this thread before i went and cut all my blue vacum hose up. now i dont have a length long enough to go from the fuel pressure regulator to the bottom of the intake manifold. would of had enough if i would have done this. how did you get out of causing fault code. is it because you have left the n429 connected? alot of ppl have removed this i believe

TBH it doesnt really make the dv any louder it just changes the sound of it due to the vac lines being shortened, this makes people think its louder but it really doesnt make it much if any louder

myki my dv seem to sound like metal rubbing on metal nw. i did clean it and not grease it back up afterwards. rookie mistake! do you recon that this chaffing nse could actually just b because of the bypass? looking at getting a pure bov or a spliter r! dont know yet!

It could be that it was making the noise before and the bypass has just enhanced it. From my experience with the split r it wasnt very good and a bov will eventually kill the turbo if not more. Your doing the cold side relocation arent you?

yeah i am going to. Contemplating on getting the whole pipe or just doing it cheap at the moment and buying a t piece and the flexi tube. Why do you recon that will make a difference

Cant buy the whole pipe as nobody makes them for ours mate, just have to custom it yourself, its pretty easy tbh ive got a few good pics il send um you over msn if you want. It might make the dv louder down there but theres no guarantee with a fully recirc dv

no i know noone makes them for ours. I was going to get my mate make me one. He works for custom exhausts and was going to charge 70 for the build but was going to have to get flexi any way which would of been 100 in total. But if i do it cheap its still going to cost 60ish. Plannin on getting new dv but was thinking of full bov but apparently that will cause problem's.

If you can get one made up for £70 go for it cos with it being medal the dv will echo so be evn louder. Yeh a bov will run shite mate so aint worth doing, best options are the Split R or the Turbosmart like mine if you want the noise
